My mother in law is going thru a divorce after 35 years. Her husbands company went out of business and their only assest is the house and property. They owe $ 35,000 on the house and a $ 40,000 line of credit. They didn't want to have to go to court but the date is next week. We had origianlly planned to her her secure a loan or line of credit to pay the house off and buy him out. He had initnally agreed but we are having problems qualifying as we have our own mortgage and bills. Tomorrow is the disposition. Must all agreements be made by tomorrow ? If she tells them she can get the loan and then can't what happens ? Also if she goes tomorrow does it mean that they will automatically have to go to court next week? I am in a real bind here !

Q: Tomorrow is the disposition. Must all agreements be made by tomorrow ?

A: The judgment in the lawsuit can give her so many days (or months) that she has to buy the stuff.
