Okay so its either i go to court for about 2000 dollars or i can just pay him and we wont take me to court. The question i am asking is if i pay him, do i need a lawyer present? so that he doesnt sue me after i pay him? because i do not want to get scammed 2000 dollars

okay. i took this guys camera and he had pictures on there that would have got him 2000 dolalrs in sponsors and he told me to just give him the money and he wont want to go to court and what i am asking is there ne legal way we can make it where he actually cant go to court for it saying that he accepted the money and he cant go to court? or he just trying to trick me and then take me to court after i pay him? please help
