need some help

not sure where i should start so i guess ill start at the beggining. me and my fiance have not paid our rent in 2 months and told our landlord that it is because he has refused to do the maintance that he garenteed us that he would do and he locked the propain tank and several people have seen him leaving my household but refuse to go to court for it. but to the end now, he has told us several times that he was going to file in the courts to get us evicted and that he is friends with the judge and all that happy stuffy. i know what he has done mainly by locking the propain tank is considered self help eviction (illegal in the state of pennsylvania) but if for some reason the courts find in his behalf how long would they be required to give us since we have 4 kids in the house hold from the ages of 8 down to 11 months. any advice would be greatly appritated
 
Non payment of rent is gurantee eviction. What you should have done is followed your states procedure for these issues. You need to talk to an Attorney as you face eviction once evicted finding anew place will be very tough
 
thats the thing i did talk to an attorny and explained the full situation to him and he said the damages to the house and our property is not enough to not pay the rent but locking the propain tank is but the main thing im worried about is how long the courts will have to give us
 
That depends on many factors. Generally the Marshall will post a notice on your door saying you have X days to vacate before Marshalls return to force you out
