In the Commonwealth of Virgina, if someone on adult supervised probation absconds supervision and moves to another state and they get a job, will they get caught? If so please explain how they would find out. also how hard do they look for someone on probation? (dist. of IV controlled substance to a minor, was original conviction) would they search out of state for you? would it be considered a major priority case?

Eventually an arrest warrant would be issued for the probation violation. While they wouldn't likely go out of state looking for you, the local police in the new state could arrest you on the warrant and you could be sent back.
Your effort to leave the state may cause you to spend more time jail rather than be released again on probation.

yes i understand all of that... but what about the part of my question concerning the employment... if someone on adult supervised probation absconds supervision and moves to another state and they get a job, will they get caught? If so please explain how they would find out.

It all depends.

No one can say for sure what will happen in any case.

Bottom line, if a child was involved, that makes it a tad more dicey.

a 17 yr old stole and ambien out of my cabinet after letting her use my restroom. and the fatjher called the police because she was having a bad reaction... as a result i got slammed

A 17 year old is a child/minor.

Okay, that's about all we can do here.

See a lawyer in your city or county.
