My dad had died in Aug. ,2009.He got remarried when i was just a kid.His new wife keep him from seeing my brother,sister,and myself.Now that he is gone she won't get a hold of us to see if he had a will or not.I called the Texas County Court House and the only thing they can tell me is she hasn't filed yet and that she has up to four years to do this.Well we (he's sibling) even didn't get any say so with his body.He was retired from the army and had bought property in Texas.How can i get help to find out about this matter.I read that we were entitled to 2/3 of his stuff.Please help. :angryfire

You are going to need an attorney. You can sue her and force her to produce a will if it exists. If it does not exist and he died intestate, then you may or may not have anything granted by the statute. Some states leave everything to the wife if the husband dies. Get an attorney or wait her out.
