Our neighbor has been throwing paint over the fence into our back yard off and on for the past year - over 20 times and counting. It is a water-based house paint that can be washed off, but we would like to be able to enjoy the privacy of our back yard without paint all over the cement.
We have had the police over there twice. He denies he's doing this. He is a house painter. So far we have no proof.
If we catch him doing this on videotape, what can we do next? We don't want any trouble. We just want him to stop doing it. What charges could be brought against him and how much jail time if any?
