In July of 2014Amy neighbors pit bull attacked my 14 lb dog and me on my front lawn. This started the hell I'm living in now.
Pretty much on a daily basis the owner of the dog swears at me calls me names and thretens to "kick my arse" I have been ignoring her and her boyfriend for months but they continue to do things like damage my property, swaer 53rdd. Today I got a knock on the door from the police because she told them I was tapping on the window of my home from inside and that was making her dogs bark. First of all I never did any such thing and secondly there is no law or ordinance against it if I had. So why are the police cattering to her nonsense and when I call for something legitimate they tell me I will be sent to jail for disorderly conduct if it happens again. Therefore I am hiding in my house in fear of both the neighbors and their dog. Their dog actually got into my front hall in December and attacked me AGAIN. I am not the only victim. Their are at least 4 other people who's dogs have been attacked by this animal and yet it is still in a neighborhood around small children. I am at a loss for words on why the police would send someone to my home because I may have tapped on a window (which I did not) what a waste of tax payers money and my time! Btw I am a disabled person who weighs 98 lbs. It should be easy to understand why I am afraid of being attacked again, especially when the dog got into my home so quickly, it seemed like she had been waiting for me to open my door. I Called the police and the village wrote a xoaint against her and ticketed her. It was not me. I was just a witness. The adjudicator found in her favor saying it was ok for the dog to get into my home attack me, cause bodily injuries to me as long as it was on a leash.
What can I do? I've been avoiding them as much as possible but the harrassment is just getting worse
