Property next door is a church parsonage, and has 3 trees planted 3 feet from lot line that are extremely messy all year, dropping gummie sticky seeds, followed by strings of unopened cotton pods, so profusely that we need to rake them. Third is tons of cotton, then sap that turns to varnish on our vehicles, then in the fall of the year, little branches that need to be raked.
One of the trees is next to our driveway, making a mess of our vehicles and gets stuck on bottom of our shoes and then sticks to our carpet and floors.
The church board of Trustees is aware of this problem, but does not want to remove the trees.
Removing the roots and branches hanging over our property is not the solution as the trees are so tall, the wind carries the mess into our yard anyway.
What are our LEGAL rights in this situation?
