My son has been constantly harassed by an elderly neighbour who calls police on a whim e.g. communal gate left open using tools in middle of night(which Is not true)This has been going on for approx. 9years. He has been to a lawyer but cant afford to keep doing this as she pays no heed the police are reluctant to charge her because of her age and the fact that she bursts into tears every time the speak to her and makes up stories about events that have not happened. No other neighbours have ever had any problem with my son . He has even tied mediation services but he refused to take part this morning he was awakened at 4.50am by police saying he was using power tools when he was in bed. This is affecting his whole life and he is now on medication for stress. The police have never charged him or cautioned him for any of these visits its a total waste of police resources. any help would be appreciated
