Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication New to this, sons have underage drinking citation

Hello. New to forum and new to underage drinking!

Both boys drinking at a party and got hit for underage drinking and also disorderly conduct. Everyone at the party was cited for DC even though no one was disorderly. Apparently this is a charge everyone got because someone called saying the party was loud. Fines total $750 each. We live in PA.

Do I need a lawyer? Do I just plead guilty and pay the fines? Do I just plead not guilty and show up and tell the juege the police said my kids were not disorderly?

Need some direction here.

Did they only get DC or did they get MIPs as well? If it was only DC then you can plead they your sons where obeying noise ordinances but it will likely be decided since they where at the party they where contributing to the noise and it will not be dropped. You can plead guilty and the fine will likely be lowed but not by to much. Or you can plead no contest and pay the fine. getting a lawyer never hurt anyone.
