I filed a complaint with the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights over two years ago. The complaint was investigated and allegedly submitted to the legal division with a recommendation of probable cause from the investigator.

It has been languishing in bureaucratic limbo for 21 months with no resolution as of yet, and with no official finding of probable cause, no mediation, no word.

The investigator has since be reassigned to a different department, the new investigator ignores my Emails and provides no information

Is there any action I can take to move this matter forward?

Thanks

No, once the bureacracies become engaged, USUALLY all one can do is be patient and wait.

Why "allegedly"? What significance is the recommendation of probable cause? What do you expect to happen?

When did this happen?

What about your phone calls? What about a visit or visits to his/her office?

Please also answer the extremely important questions that "adjusterjack" asked:

Complaint about what?

What civil right do you allege was violated?

And by whom?
