My Friend and I were heading back to my house at 1am. As we were heading there we would slow down to about 10miles below the speed limit and then to the speed limit which was 45 miles an hour. we then BOTH got pulled over by one police officer. He Wrote us up for "Speed Racing" (ORS 811.125) He Never Clocked us or anything. All we came up with is that he heard my friends car because his muffler fell off a while back so its louder than the second coming and Plus the fact that we were the only cars on the road. So we both got a $427 fine from the same cop at the same time. So im wondering if we have any ground to stand on because of the fact He Didnt clock us even though we werent exceeding the speed limit, We are pretty sure he didnt see us do anything, and we were not being reckless.
