My No Fault Divorce is scheduled for next month in New Jersey. It is a no fault Divorce. The only issue that I have with the divorce is the amount of child support that I have to pay. Considering it is a no fault divorce is it possible to file a Motion for Child Support Reduction prior to the scheduled date?

Best Regards
NJ

CS is paid according to state guidelines. Do you have an attorney? Have you or your attorney reviewed the states guidelines? If you are carrying insurance on the child you can ask that that be taken into consideration too. Are they taking both parents incomes? Also NJ has some wierd emancipation laws. Be sure an age is set on when CS is to stop or it can continue into the child is in her/his 20's. Who is claiming the child on taxes? You can ask for that.

You really should have an attorney.
