No Insurance Ticket

My husband bought a car off the internet from a guy. I had no part in this and was not informed about registration or insurance. All I knew is that it had a temporary tag on it. I was given a ticket for no insurance when approached by the cops for being double-parked. It turns out that he had not gotten insurance yet. How can I beat this ticket? Any tips please. Never had any other tickets before.

You can get insurance now and show them -- they may reduce the ticket -- but other then that -you really had no insurance, so I dont know how your going to Beat the ticket.
