I had a few to many drinks the other night and was absolutely not thinking at all. I walked across the street to the shopping center and took a bottle of wine. As if that isn't bad enough I then dropped that bottle on my way home and went back and got another bottle. There was only one worker in the store and nobody saw me, I even had a paid sticker on the first bottle I took. I feel absolutely disgusted with myself and am worried that they will find out who I am and press charges. I also have had my perscriptions filled at this store before. Can anyone tell me what they're procedure is for this type of situation and will they try and find out who I am from the footage?

-Thanks a million

If the theft was seen or they know when it happened there are many ways to seek out the thief and prosecute. However based on your post I doubt they will go to the effort of following through with this if the theft was even noticed within short period of time

How long do they have to review the footage and press charges. And if they didn't even see me would they have any reason to review footage from when the store is dead late at night? Also, don't they delete the footage to reuse the tape eventually?

-Thanks soooo much

If there is video footage of theft and if they have reason to review it. If they do it depend son system they use to record and how much room the tape or hard drive has to keep old footage. Could be days weeks or months. I know what yu want but there is no real answers only speculation. I would advise you stay out of that store for at least a couple months

Well I don't plan on ever going to that store again. This is sooo out of character for me. I was off my meds and drinking (don't know what I was thinking). I'm not worried about going back to the store I'm worried about them sending the police after me or something along those lines.

-THanks again :0) Your very helpful
