Consumer Law, Warranties Non-compete contract and severence pay

I signed a non-compete contract for my former employer with no incentive and a radius of 20 miles. Im currently working for a competitor outside the radius. My former employer did not give me my severence check as promised in a termination verbal agreement because she claims I texted clients informing them of my new location....not true.

Does she owe me that money even though it is in the private sector? Is that contract null and void since Im outside the radius?

Please help!

we have no idea without seeing the contract. You really should show the contract to an employment law attorney. You also might want to ask him about the severence.
