:D First off, thank you for your time and advice.
Long story as short as possible, I divorced in 2000, childsupport was court ordered at $400. In May 2005, "we" had a review at the OAG and childsupport decreased in 2005 to $105. At that time, he was in arrears a few grand. Other than seeing my ex at the review (he wouldn't even look at me), he has not called, written, or visited his 8 yr old daughter since Oct. 2004. He has skipped so many payments that he is in arrears so much that the childsupport was upped to $190 in November 2006 (I recieved a letter from Attorney General). I am still only recieving the original $105 to date. I called the local OAG and they basically told me they didn't know if he was still employed because he mailed in his payment instead of having it deducted and there was nothing they could do other than send him yet again, another letter stating his arrears and how much he needs to pay. I don't have any information on his whereabouts other than an assumption that he still lives in a certain town. My question, it seems that OAG won't put much effort to help or even advice me what to do? So what can I do legally?? Thank you!

You might have some luck with a child support collection agency. One is www.supportkids.com.

You can also take him back to court for contempt, ita possible a family court judge will be harder on him, and also re-evaluate the amount. 105.00/mo does not sound right.

i am a good dad and I want to see my kids. i feel for you and your situation

do whatever you can. do not stop. i feel for you. I am a good dad. always paid my support. paid $300. then got a raise. paid $330. got raise. paid $350. then $375. then $400. then boom. i got fired. and the woman INSISTS I still pay $400 even though I'm on unemployment and is threatening to never let me see my kids until I pay the $400 a month again. it gets worse, but i'll spare the details. I'm crushed over not seeing my kids and I have no money to pay an attorney. i'll search and looking online. i won't give up. you cannot give up either.

M ichael i replied to your other post. You are only required to pay mom hwat the courts tell you too. You need to get to court yourself and file contempt charges on mom for not allowing you to see your kids. Some family law attorney's will give you a free consultation. You might want to ask them about petitioning the courts for mom to pay your legal fees.
