I have not received a paycheck for time worked from October 1- November 15, 09. Paydates were set on 10th and 25th of the month. Then, Friday I received an email with a layoff letter attached. Over $12,000.00 in wages and expenses is owed to me.
I submitted a wage claim to the Texas Employment Commission today.
Is there anyone else I can report this to?

Also, can I file a lien on equipment? Because I was a VP of the company, I traveled a lot and moved equipment from office to office or picked it up for repairs. I have some equipment and would like to be able to file a lien until I am paid. What recourse do I have?

You can't file a lien until you have a judgment. I would file a lawsuit for wages. I suspect you will end up in bankruptcy court.
