not receiving my pay check as scheduled

My boss always gives us our pay checks on Thursday for some reason he decided to mail out the pay checks and everyone received their check on Friday.

My supervisor spoke to "the boss" and he said he purposely mailed my check out on Friday.

I still havent received my check.....what legal action do I have?

You wait and see if you receive your check on Monday. Then you go in and sign up for direct deposit.

The state DOL is not going to get excited about a check mailed on Friday that is not received on Saturday.
 
Agree with cbg. It seems the check has been mailed & if it was mailed on Friday, it will take a few days to get to you. You just need to wait for it.
 
I confronted my boss this morning about the late check and he fired me? Now do i have a case?

Regrettably, I saw that coming from hundreds of miles away.

I suggest you visit a couple local attorneys to discuss this matter.

Most people don't respond well to confrontation.

The lawyers will inform you correctly.

I choose to restrain myself from commenting further.

Were you given a reason why you were being fired?

You might want to apply for unemployment ins. - the state will decide if you qualify.
 
You still need to go ahead & apply for unemployment ins.

If you don't get your check, then also file a wage claim.
