I live in Maryland and my ex-wife and son live in Texas. I have child support taken out of my paycheck every week and sent to the state for dispursment.
I am also accountably for 50% of medical bills non essential medical items are to be discussed and agreed upon prior to buying (in this case contacts for a 10 yr old) The ex sent me a bill for $199 without talking to me prior to the contacts being bought. Am I to pay 50%. My son is also to come stay with me every spring break I am to buy ticket 7 days prior to visit. Well 7 days are closing in and I can not get ex on the phone or get her to respond to emails. What should I do?
