i got married 9 months ago and have a baby girl with my wife. we've been arguin a lot so i told her i wanted to break up. she, as a response, called the cops to file a report claiming that i abused her and her other daughter( from a previous relationship she's had); also, she threated me with leaving the state( florida) with my baby and that i'll never see her again. later that night( the one that i told her about me leaving her) she showed up at my parents house( which is where i was) and called the cops again claiming that i wasn't letting her leave, to which the officer told me that i had no rights with respect of her leaving with the baby but i could go to court to get visitation, custody, or something like that. the thing is that after how she acted last night i don't have any intentions of getting back with her but she won't stop calling my parents' house asking to talk to me or my parents and trying to convince me. also the officer that came over told me that he didn't beleived her any words about the abuse and also that she was acting like a phsyco towards him and me, also she mention that she is very bitter. all i want is to make sure that i get to be part of my baby's life( i'd also love to be part of the other kid that my wife has, since i've been taking care of that kid since before the marriage and i got attached(i know that it is unlikely but still it'd be nice)). i don't mind helping financially but i just don't wanna be around her anymore and i want her to stop harrasing my parents and me.

It would be in your best interest to file for visitation. If you file, you can stop her from leaving FL with your child. Don't wait for her to file, that makes things harder.

When you file, you may want to ask for a mental evaluation of this woman.

You state's law library online may have a divorce packet for free. Most states do.

Your best bet is to file for divorce asap and ask for custody, or keep mom from leaving the state. You are probably going to need an attorney.
