My car was having problems so I took to Superior Chevrolet to get fixed. After being there for several hours, and after paying , the service man told me that my car would not start and they do not know what or why. When I l left the vehicle and called the next day to see what was happening to fix my car, the service manager told me that the service man was fired because he was treating my car as an under the table sell and was pocketing my money. He accused me of having a "relationship" with the sales man and told me that they were not going to fix my car and I was to remove it from the property. I informed the manager that I was not aware of his service person's actions and it was his whole staff that had worked on my car. He refused to speak with me. So i had the car towed. I drove it in there and after they did what they did, it was inoperative.
Then on 10/28 i gave my vehicle to Hennessy GMC located in Morrow, GA it took them all the way to 11/30 to tell me that the vehicle needed a starter. We picked up the vehicle on 11/30 drove it for 8 mins and it broke down on us again. We were able to get it back to the dealership on the same night. Now around 12/1 I spoke to Rich who is the assistant supervisor and he stated he had no idea of what was going on with the car and he would get back with me. I heard back from Mr. Rich and he told me the head gasket in the car was broken. I have a warranty on the car and he said he would go through the warranty to fix the car. Now its almost two weeks later and no one has been in contact with me. The only time I hear from anyone in service is if I make a call. The last time I called they said they need oil change receipts, in which i did supply three days ago. When I called today, they said they were still waiting on the receipts. I told them they were emailed three business days ago. Right now, I have lost a job and have caused my family to increase in transportation fee because of this situation. This is a two month situation and I still have not received any repairs, or offered a loaner vehicle or anything. My car is just sitting there causing an hardship to me and my family. This dealership is stating that GM is holding up the process and when I spoke to GM they are saying its the dealership. I have an email showing lack of communication and the chat conversation with GM regarding the type of neglect that I have been experiencing. Do I have a case?

Do I have a case?

Maybe, but it's going to take a lawyer for you to get anywhere who you might as well go hire one.

I know, no money for a lawyer.

Try calling your state's consumer affairs agency or your local TV stations' consumer advocates.

Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you.

You say they haven't offered you a loaner. Have you asked for one? Since the dealership and GM are pointing fingers at each other, I suggest this. Make an appointment with the Service Manager. While you are in his office, have him call GM. When you have two different stories, you have to get both parties in the same room.

Factory reps also call on their dealerships on a regular basis. Call and ask when the next visit is scheduled and be there.

If you retell the saga of the car that won't operate, leave this paragraph out.

It'll distract many who read it, its NOT relevant, only makes you look like a shyster in the process.

The remaining paragraphs should be reworked if you choose to visit a lawyer.
