I recently found 2 contracts notarized in 1937 that belonged to my father (and heirs) who died in 1956. They are titled "MINERAL DEED AND ROYALTY CONTRACT" each for "1/32 of all royalties hereinafter, accruing or becoming due under the terms of any oil and gas lease...on said land..." One is for approximately 8 acres, the other for 40 acres of land in Arkansas. No action has been taken on them, and I am wondering if they are worth anything or should i just discard them. Any thoughts? Thanks
