well i followed your advice to revoke poa from my uncle.. i went to bank to have it notarized.. in doing so, i come to find out that my uncle only has my mother with a little more than 300.00 in her account.. there are SEVERAL checks that he wrote for groceries, cemetery plots(3 of them, one of which was my aunt), utilities at his wife's house, home insurance, life insurance.. which made me wonder why does he need a p o box when she has a mailbox.. so her ss checks he takes them to the bank and deposits some and get cash as a withdrawl.. i'm not sure if he is using her account as his..his name is on there with hers.. he even had a check he wrote to a church he attends.. she doesn't go to that church.. so i gave the bank my poa papers and they made copies.. the life insurance, i'm quite sure he's the beneficiary or his wife and kids.. not sure if he had her sign a will or not.. the house was put in my name and her name in 1995.. i am not on the bank account with her on her new account, however she made need some help.. sometimes she forgets things.. he's been bringing her food from time to time.. some he buys from a restaurant, some he brings from home.. he's the one who told me i couldn't stay here.. it appears he has taken her for everything.. he made improvement on the house, but they were people he knew.. the ch/a unit put in by them, i'm not sure who to call if it breaks down.. so from last year til now, she has 300.00??? she gets 2 checks per month.. he was even buying groceries(not bringing any here) and paying to have clothes cleaned.. but whose.. no clothes her for her.. there was even credit card payments being taken out.. her checks go to either the p o box or his house.. i am trying to get a lawyer for her, but i don't have any money.. he took it all.. i am fearful for all of us in this house.. he even changed the locks on the doors where she needs a key to get out.. and the home insurance has 300,000 for personal injury verses 90,000 for the dwelling..there's no telling what is on the life insurance policy.. he didn't send that here to the house... please tell me what to do.. if i could pay a attorney i would but as i stated i have no money.. she doesn't know what's going on and she trusted him.. and he's a pastor.. please help.. if there is a will naming him or his family as getting something, can he get the house too.. omg please help.. i can't even sleep

update 12/30/07---i found out by trying to do a credit report that my mother's house could have a second mortgage on it.. it was already paid for.. my mom had over 50,000 in her account in Feb. 2006 but now has 370.00.. all the checks i saw copies of my uncle paid himself, his utilities, and bought groceries for himself out of my mom's bank account.. he took out an annuity of 30,000 with my mom as joint owner.. if she dies, he gets every penny of it... there is a will .. when i talked to the attorney who put it together, she wouldn't give my mom a copy of it.. she told me there were 2 copies on that.. so i suppose my uncle has one and my sister the other one.. i don't know what to do on this.. this is the craziest thing i ever heard.. even my brother in law threatened me.. so i believe my sister has a part in this will thing too.. my question is how do i find out if my mom has a second mortgage.. he even cashed in life insurance policies on my mom... the smoke alarm he put in doesn't work and he wouldn't give us the password just in case it's a false alarm... her checks were going to a p o box or either to his house.. he even wrote my mother's name on some of her checks as if she signed it but she didn't.. i have revoked his poa.. but the damage has been done.. can you please help me.. thanks
