I was pulled over coming from a bar for expired tags, yeah i know in Bryan, ohio. He took me out of the car, and i did the test that they do, i passed all of them, but he still took me to the police station. I blew a .084 on the breath test.
So i went to court the following week, requesting to be represented but since i work a 40 hour week at a factory, they denied me. So i have to look else where to come up with money to find a laywer..
To me i think that since i only make so much and support 2 others in my household, and i'm the only provider for my family, i should have an attorney represent me. He only looked at my work and how many hours.
I just need to know that since this is my first time, should i just go back into the court and plead not guilty, or should i be represented. I really don't want to be taken advantage of here.
I would like to know what i have rights to. Since i can't afford an attorney, what should i do, isn't it my right to have a lawyer there, cause i know i can't afford one.
