Is there a statue of limitation on references as a felon on a manslaughter conviction?

Are you asking if a manslaughter conviction disappears over time?

No, any conviction will remain a conviction, unless a full pardon is granted.

Putting it another way, once a convicted felon, always a convicted felon, unless a full pardon is granted.

No, a person can be referred to as a "murderer," "killer," "felon," etc. for as long as people want to say so. A felony conviction stays with you forever unless overturned or expunged ... and manslaughter is not likely to be expunged (assuming it is even possible in your state).

So, he will have to live with the label given to him as a result of his actions for as long as people so choose (or, for as long as his record so indicates).
