Hello,
I was just wondering about this, this guy runs what seems to be an online gambling website, but it's through yahoo games. His website hosts tournaments in games such as euchre, gin, dominoes, etc. He is based somewhere in Kansas and I was just wondering is this legal? (Or do I need to give a better description of the situation?)
I was also wondering, when you first register at this website they give you what the equivalent of $1 is but they call it something else. I was able to turn this $1 into $500 and your allowed to cash out $50 every month. So I tried cashing $50 out in September 2006. He says on his website "The process can take up to 6 months to complete due to banking restrictions and rules for chargebacks." So in March 2007, I get an email saying a check has been sent, so I wait a couple of weeks for the check and it doesn't come, 2 months later, in May 2007, I get the equivalent of $50 put back into my account on the website. My question is do I have any right to that $50 and also how is this man able to operate a company like this over the internet?
Thanks for any provided information. If I haven't explained anything enough to base a decision on I will be happy to explain the situation more.
