Order of Protection

Due to a death threat against us by my daughter's ex-boyfriend we have an order of protection. my daughter has to go to court and he (the ex-boyfriend) will be there. Are we still allowed to go with our daughter to court even thought he will be there? We always go with her for support and he (the ex-boyfriend) claims we can't.
