Hi,

I sublet an appartment from a known person in CT and that person had to pay me 2500$ and he promised to pay as soon possible, just to be on safe side I made informal agreement via email.

I know that person moved to houston and have his wife address also he claim that he is not living with his wife but visit her in weekends or so. After several attempts to call and emails he is not responding and he responded once that I will get money now its 3 months and havent heard anything from him. I tried calling and emails. What are my options to get money?

so I have decided to take him to small claims court now I wonder how do I serve him and what address? I know his one property is in colorado.

You need to sue him in small claims court in whatever jurisdiction he lives. Sounds like that's Texas.

If you can't find him personally, get an order allowing you to nail and mail.
