Over paid alimony

My ex was supposed to pay alimony for 18 months. This should have ended 7 years ago. We have been to court twice about child support and marital debt and he never addressed the alimony. We were just to court in April to enforce my litigant's rights for him to pay the bills he agreed to pay and to reimburse me for health insurance payments for our kids. The amounts of everything were stated in court, new child support, and alimony. My ex even wanted the health insurance given to me as alimony but I requested it as child support. Now 2 months later, he is taking me to court for 14000.00 of over paid alimony. Am I really going to have to spend the next 10 years of my life paying all that back when he had 3 chances in court to change it?
