Overdue Ticket?

Hello, I have a serious question. Being a college student in a small town I had very little chance of gettign the money to pay of a ticket I recieved. I managed to pay half of it and was given 90 days to pay the remaining $80. Th problem is, durign that time I had a death in the family as well as a medical emergency where my father almost went into a coma and nearly lost his sight even when he was getting better. Now, I think the deadline for the ticket has passed and I am worried of what the consequeces might be for this. When the court is open I plan to call and find out what I need to do, but any information and advice would be welcomed.

Well, never mind folks. I talked to the DA and all at the courthouse and they gave me to the end of this month to pay and a friend is gonna give me the money. Thanks anyway.
