I am currently paying on a stereo system from Rent a Center. I had the same product before and paid most of it off, but due to me loosing my job I had to return it. When I returned it the Manager verbally told me that when I come back to pick up on my payments everything that I've paid would be put towards the same or like stereo. I now have the same exact stereo and have been paying on it for awhile now and I feel that I have paid what I owe. What can I do or can I do anything?
 
Where is the contract that stating what you just posted? If you have something in writing regarding the specifics you just posted on that particular stereo system you can demand a rectification from the store manager.
