Overtime check - not received california

My employer was reported to the California labor board. He wasn't making us clock out for our lunches, and has to back pay all of his employees the lunch ot (I believe) for the past 5 years. I have left the company last month to care for my grandfather and have not received the check. I asked other employees and they have all received their checks. The owner is kind of hard to deal with, I need help as to what my next steps should be.

Contact the state labor board. Someone there should be able to give you accurate information on the status of the case against your former company.
