Why on Earth would you think that you do not have to fulfill a legal and binding contract??I recently bought a truck and I got a loan through a credit union. The dealership sent me the title by mistake and not to the credit union. What am I required to do legally. Do I have to pay the loan if I have the title of the truck??
Oh, that nasty little thing like checks, receipts, bank records ... you know, the paper trail you will have to produce to show you paid it off when they sue you.I understand that, but how do they "prove" I didn't pay them if I already have the title for that vehicle in my possession?
