PA ticket

my daughter was driving from OH to Pittsburgh when she was pulled over & issued a ticket for driving in the left lane. she told the officer she had just "moved" there (going to college) in Oct. and was unaware of a law saying you can't drive in the lft. lane of the highway....he gave her a ticket for $105 ..... is it true that "ignorance is no excuse"?! is there some way to dispute the ticket?.....distressed mom

They are enforcing "Keep right unless passing" law fairly strongly now days (for good reasons). I'll bet it's the law in both states.

She (or a lawyer) might be able to plea this down if points are an issue.

Otherwise, look at it as a driving lesson and move on.
