Paid amount due, now amount changed

I am being sued for terminating a lease early. However, the company sent me a letter saying that I havent made a payment and to needed to do so. If I wanted to pay the balance in full it would be $413.00. I paid $413.00. Then they turned around and said that letter had an error in it. I have the letter and my cancelled check. Do I need to worry? Now the suit is for $1900.00. They said I owed $1900 not $413.00.

depends on what the 1900.00 is for if the math adds up I would work out something, if the math does not add up have them take you to court and show all of your papers
