I've been led to believe that I would inheirit nothing from an estate that I have suspected has been mismanaged since 1989 (yes 1989) ther was a will it was filed years after the death.
Even though it was discovered immediatley after death.
So here comes a check around 5/07 for $1500.00 for my cut of a condo sold in Florida in 1993.
It wasnt like I was lost and had to be found.
There were 8 heirs that got a cut.
They all got a check at the same time.
I know there's more hidden.
2 Properties were sold in 2004 for about 1.2 million.
What exactly is the purpose of an A/B trust? If someone dies and the spouse has it all?
I have copies of deeds that were public record in Dupage County recorders online database,
although I think they were altered.
Because I'm named in the will per stirpes and all, and I know Trust #'s at whereever banks.
Do I have a right to go to those banks and demand to see the Trust Documents? there is a surviving spouse and I'm a child from the decedants first marriage.
The probate file was closed after the sale of Fla property with a FULL AND FINAL ACCOUNTING that didnt entail Florida, although there was a Fla file opened
The Illinois inventory didnt list Fla or the 2 properties in Dupage that sold for 1.2 mil
I have heard from siblings (Surviving spouses own children ) Estates worth around 30 mil.
I contacted one knowledgeable atty he did state there is a statue
Is it from time of death,will being filed, or probate closed because that was 2004
If this a crime I'll let the police handle it
if its an atty @250.00 an hr I'll copy everything I have and send it to the I.R.S.
and have them ask her about it
