Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Payed Civil Demand

Hello everyone. I'm 17 years old. I was caught shoplifting at (dept. store). I wasn't arrested. I got a Civil Demand and payed it like a complete idiot, not realizing that it could get me on a theft database. I got the Civil Demand Letter from the Law Offices in Florida. I called them and asked them that when I payed the Civil Demand and that I'm a minor will I be on a theft database? They said No and that they're just there to help make the payments. Is there still a possibility that I'm on a theft database. I also read that Juveniles aren't included in databases in which a person was under the age of 18 when an incident occurred.

"Personal" info should not be posted including the name of the store. Betty3

The main database - The National Retail Theft Database is not suppose to accept reports on people under 18. You probably were not reported to any database but we cannot say for sure.

The reason I said we couldn't say for sure they would not be in a theft database is because sometimes these databases contain errors - minors put in due to wrong DOB given, people not removed after 7 yrs. etc. They are not suppose to be put in if a minor is true.

Let add there are several databases but none enter names of minors. If you do discover your name in such a database for an event that happened while you were a minor contact the database and request you be removed because you were minor at time.
