I was terminated from a job that for the last 5 years had paid me for my continuing education credits I would get by going to conferences. I attended a conference on April 9,2010 and was terminated April 19,2010. I gave them all the paperwork that was involved like every other time,a day or two after the conference. Now I'm told I'm not eligible for the money. Can they do that if I was a full time employee when I was at the conference?

Maybe. What does the policy say?

Having said that, since policy is not a law, you would likely have to sue to try to get it anyway.
