Boat dealer promised to payoff my trade in by certain date. Paperwork was signed by GM. The payoff amount, date it would be paid off by, and all other info was included on the buyers order. The date payoff was to be made by has passed, and still no payoff. What now?

Call the dealer and advise if they have not completed the transaction by XXX date, you will be filing a complaint with the Atty. General for a 501.204 violation.

Just to add, if you now owe more than the previously quoted amount, including any late fees, you are responsible for paying the additional to the original lender. You may get the dealer to cover it, but if for some reason they refuse you have to resolve that between the two of you or in court.
