My jurisdiction is: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
I was filling up gas at a gas station in Waterloo after a one hour drive from Toronto at approxiately 3:30a.m. I needed to go take a piss even before i got to the gas station, but i figured i could use the washroom there. So after I finished filling up, i walked towards the cashier, and saw that the washroom was closed. At that point, I really needed to go. So i walked to the side of the gas station behind the building, and took a piss, while trying to be as discrete as i could. While i was peeing, i was approached by a municipality by-law officer. And he gave me a $300 ticket for "Foul land owned Privately" contrary to "city of waterloo by law #05/8 under section 2.4".
I know that what i did wasn't right, but i knew i couldn't hold it in any longer. So, I was wondering whats the best course of action i can take to minimize the fees of this ticket, or even have the ticket to be thrown out.
Thanks,
m
