Permanent Deferral

So, years back I was permanently deferred from donating plasma for falsification on a tattoo. I honestly did not mean to lie about it and didn't even have to lie about, it was all a misunderstanding in my eyes. I desperately want to start donating again and I want to know if I have any chance at all at fighting this with the FDA? Thank you
