hello
i am a permanent resident of us since 2000 (i did not live continuously in the USA so i will be eligible for citizenship only after 3 more years).
i got married last year and i filed a I-130 form to make her a resident also, but this process takes up to 2.5 years, which is outrageously long!!!
now i heard about some kind of 'immigration judges' who might grant this kind of status without having to wait for USCIS.
i know my wife for 5 years and both of us have no problems with law and good income.
is there any way i can proceed to have my case heard by an immigration judge? what are the steps and grounds for this?
thanks!
