A few months ago my mom and I opened a business together. She ran the front area and I redone furniture. We'll I found out she was doing dirty business and not charging taxes so I ended the business relationship immediately. I got upset with her and left the premises. I returned later to collect my things/tools and she told me that they weren't there. They just disappeared... I stopped by the sheriff's office and asked if an officer could accompany me to her store so that maybe she would give my things back. She said the samething when we got there. The deputy says there is nothing I can do because I don't have proff that she has my stuff and if she did have my stuff, I had no proff it was legitimately mine. A while back she talked me into buying this 40 foot extremely nice camper from her broke father so I did. I paid cash for it and she talked me into placing it on her property. Because she is highly ticked off with me for shutting down the business, she told me I have 30 days to remove the camper from her property. She knew that I didn't have the money to move it because I spent all my money buying the darn thing. So not only has she stolen about $500 worth of tools from me, she is about to lay claim to my camper as well. Is their anything at all I can do? I really need more time... I just found out within the last few months how much of a dirty person she really is!

I suggest you simply transfer ownership (as in GIFT it) of the camper to a trusted person.

The new owner then goes and gets his or her new camper.

After the camper is off of her property, the person you gifted it to, can simply gift it back to you.

What you don';t want to do, is get involved with the police or the courts.

Make it easy on yourself.

But, make sure the person you choose can be trusted 1,000,000,000%....
