After renting an apartment for several years' with the standard, one month Security Deposit, I adopted a dog. My landlord requested an additional month for a refundable Pet Deposit. Upon my moving is it reasonable to expect a full refund if there is no damage as a result of the dog?

After several years in an apartment with a standard one month Security Deposit, I adopted a dog. The landlord requested an additional month for a refundable Pet Deposit. When leaving, if there is no damage resulting from my dog should I expect to get my Pet Deposit back?

You might have the expectation of getting the deposit back, but that rarely happens.
If money is tight, maybe you can't keep the pooch?
