Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Petit Larceny

Hi,
I just got a ticket for a petit larceny and I got a court date at Reno Municipal Court. This was my first ticket and I don't have priors. The only thing is I'm an international student on a visa. So is there any possibility that I can get this dismissed or changed to a non-moral torpitude charge?

Stop taking things that don't belong to you.

You're a thief, and a very stupid thief.

You fail at stealing, as you steal low value trinkets.

I don't know, nor does anyone, what will happen to you.

I do know, MOST, low level thieves get very little done to them.

Stay out of any additional trouble, especially any more stealing.

Show up in court, attired in business clothing, be early, be polite, plead not guilty, (hire a lawyer), or ask the court to appoint one paid for by honest, hard working, non-stealing taxpayers.

Make no statements, admissions, or confessions.

Follow the advice your lawyer, and wait!!!!

If you can't do the above, just leave the USA, and return to your homeland.

The US law can't reach you there for low class nothing crimes.

Yes, I know it was a very bad mistake on my side.
Thank you for your advice. Does ACD mean that the case won't be brought to USCIS? And can I safely say no to the question of "Have you ever been convicted?" Thanks again.
