Hi in September i stole something from target the value was 120$ when the security brought me in the office he said it was my lucky day and that he can help me if i cooperate and work with a detective. so he couldn't get a hold of the detective that moment so he had to call the cops and file a report.
i went to court they made me an offer but i got a chance to tell the state defendant on what the deal was so he told the judge this "i suggest that he doesn't say anything at the moment".. and i got a new date..
so the detective still hasn't contacted me and i went to court again and asked for a continuance and have a court date coming up i finally got the the number for the detective and about to call him to fill out papers for a CI..
Im just not sure on what to do can i still take the deal because i have a feeling these charges wont be dropped or should i get a public defender i have no money.. on unemployment
I have the number on the state defender to call him and give him info.
Im charged with--- Petty Theft and nothing else target is not making me pay for anything.
