Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Petty theft in FL....PLEASE BE kind and help!

Hi so I was caught shoplifing from Target. Bout $54 dollars worth. Didn't get arrested, but was taken into privite room for questioning and such. Police came,
got a court date coming up May 15th. 1st time offense and I'm 19. Whats going to happen?
Will I go to jail or what???

Any comments back will be apperciated

You probably won't end up in jail.

There are seriously easier ways to get $54 - much less trouble than stealing as well.
