My wife works for a freak. We were on vacation and he sent emails to her from another employees email to see if she was checking her emails. On vacation of course she wanted to leave work behind. Her boss had left her a voice mail and when she did not respond he text her phone and then when she again did not respond he sent the emails from another emplyees computer pretending to be someone else. When my wife checked her emails after vacation she call the person that supposedly had sent the emails, To her surprise the other emplyee did not work that week and did not send the emails. This is not the first time something like this has happened. At a another time her boss tried to access our bank account from my wifes work computer while she was out of town. We found out when we were locked out do to several invalied attempts. My wife is under very much stress and wants out.
Does she have any legal recorse.

Unless she can really prove that her boss is the one doing that, I don't see a case here.

Sounds like your wife needs to quit and find another job.

As far as the emails are concerned, there is no law prohibiting an employer from requiring an employee to check their emails on vacation.
