I purchased a Steinway grand L in 2001. I found out today that the piano is actually a Steinway player piano worth $10,000 less than what I paid. If the seller has moved, what can I do?

In May 2001, I purchased a Steinway L. Now I found out that it is a modified Steinway player piano worth $10,000 less. Do I have any recourse if the seller has moved?

Did you have a written contract stating what kind of piano it is?

If not, then you have no case.

Statute of limitations for written contracts in California is 4 years so there's nothing you can really do at this point.
